Thats the link they provide on the Flyer sent to my house.

I might be interested in going.  What day were you planning to head to the Expo?

not sure what day yet. just gauging interest. looking at the calender, Friday would probably be best for me but i'd be able to do weekends too.

I'm going to wait for the Richmond show. The Maryland show has more saltwater stuff than I care for. There is an added bonus about the Richmond show, Greentop will be holding it's Bass-n-more sale that weekend. Greentop is still better than any Bass-a-rama I have been to in the last 15 yrs.

The Richmond FishingExpo is on the last weekend of January at the RIR Raceway Complex on Laburnum Avenue. (Richmond International Raceway)

This is where the NASCAR Track is located. It was once referred to as the Fairgrounds.

There are some excellent speakers this year. Check them out at the web site for Richmond FishingExpo.

Green Top has had the Shimano engineers at some of their past sales on the same weekend as the big RIR show and Green Top also has a great sale.

Crowds are thick at both events but worth fighting your way through.

Be sure to know what you are looking for as it helps you locate things.

I am going to recon Green Top the week before the sale so I know where the things I want are located. And the guys at Green Top will let you know what is going on sale, too, in case you are seeking new rods and reels.

You may want to visit both sites to plan your travels.  Parking at Green Top can be a challenge.

Bring that VISA card!!!!

awww man, I put this in the Southeast forum to try and get a group to go up....oh wells. I guess this works too.

I am fairly sure that the fair is the 22nd to the 27th I think this is the one I am going to attend. The penn state bass club got invited and I told them I would go down.

I went to the expo in maryland and had a great time. I didn't go to any of the lectures but I they had a TON of small company baits that were unique  as well as some hard to find baits and most of it was pretty low priced.

I will probably wait for the one in VA this year. Greentop is awesome, any excuse to go down there is great.
