Maps of Lake/Pond bottoms (topos?) In Rhode Island...all New England

Featured Replies

Hey folks....

I asked this question before but don't know if I phrased it right so I'll try again.

I am looking for a CD, or hard copy book, etc. of lake/pond bottoms in Rhode Island and the New England area. I plan on putting a Lowrance 520c on my boat this Spring and will have the Navionics card for the area in the unit. I still would like to have "hard copies" to look at for saftey and fishing reasons. Anyone know of such software or good old fashioned (modern) books?

Also, are Navionics cards able to be read on a PC and are you able to print the images from the Navionics display?

Any help is appreciated in advance.

I've been looking for books of RI topo's for over 25 years and have struck out to date. There is Mass fish and wildlife site click on maps & atlases to the right topo's out the ying-yang :)

Go here click on the lake look for topo map.

Also RI DEM has white books with all the data, They donated cases to our Jr Bassmasters I have some left and give them to all the new members each year. I will see if we can get a few more.

Duuuuuuh! :-/ I forgot all about that site,it's been updated too. Thanks Strat! Very much appreciated. I've have the RI DEM book that has descriptions, acreage and species but no topo's just  an flat outline of waterways.  Thanks a bunch for refreshing my youthful deteriorating mind! :)

They are ok maps, but don't run on pad going by them. It might cost you.
