Featured Replies

Does anyone know if lake arthur is thawed out yet?  i was kinda hopin to get up there this weekend if it is.  i looked on the kbbc websites and a couple others n it did not say

Yesterday, my father told me it was still mostly frozen.

yea  i would have to guess that it is still frozen along with all the other lakes in the area   should be thawed very soon though

the first kbbc tourney is the 29th. It seems like the last few years the lake is frozen up too the week of the tourney.

hey flyhatch thats what i heard too.  i called a friend of mine who fishes kbbc today n he said he is going to go check it out tomorrow n let me know if its still iced over or not.  Last I heard was it was thawing out from the bank but you still couldnt get a boat on it.  i am going somewhere on saturday and the more i think about it my options are limited due to the fact that there is another tournament at cross creek on saturday and i dont wanna be out there with 60 other boats, the rivers are high thanks to all this rain and arthur is still frozen.  hopefully it will thaw with al the rain and the speers pool on the mon wont be affected too much from the rain since it is more south.  I do know one thing and that is that the allegheny is really flowin right now.  :'(

its like total lock down mode.

i look at the alleghney every day and its a mess.

pre fishing moraine isnt happening.

I can wait for a weather change ;)

i got a call from my fishing partner and he reported that moraine was pretty much totally frozen as of 5pm today.

I am hoping for a big warm spell ;)
