Anyone fished Tawas Bay?

JW if anyone has hit Tawas Bay early season. Still ice on the beach but you can get out on to it via the Tawas river. I got a map so we'll see how it goes. There's a couple creek beds out on it and I'm hoping for some smallies to be out there in sluggish mode.
