we always fished in the marsh by the boat launch side. we fished out of floattubes. lots of really nice largemouths.

This is my first post, nice to have somthing that i can share.

    i fish on the marsh side near the boat launch in spring before the weeds get too dense. lost a monster pike on a red rattlin' rap last year.  broke the knot on my fireline.  be careful fishing for bass too early.  i went for a walk there yesterday and they have some no bass fishing signs posted.  i think the DNR is going to be a little tougher this year

    i have been trying the north marina and have had no luck yet. sounds like the marshes is where its at  ;D

    one more question: is are the marshes where u come into metrobeach on 16 mile road?
