falcon boxes

Featured Replies

I have several F.T.O. boxes - terminal, 302 (for jigs), medium crankbait, jerkbait, topwater - and really like them. I'm considering the buzzbait box. Does it compress the wire like the spinnerbait box does to spinnerbaits? Would it be able to fit the Persuader Blade in Blade Buzzbaits?

They are worth every penny.

I have the box that fits both Spinners and Buzzers.  Spinners go on one side and get compressed.  The Buzzers go on the other side, clip in on the side of the hook and the buzz end is left free.  Just push them all to one side.  Sometimes the box is difficult to close if the blades are in the wrong position but it usually isn't a big deal.

Can anybody confirm if these boxes fit in a boats' built-in tackle storage slots?

As mentioned earlier, they're a different size than the standard Plano 3700's.

I have the FTP Falcon boxes. The best boxes are the jig, spinnerbait, rattle trap, and jerkbait box.

Here is the problem with the large crank boxes. It will not hold 12 large cranks. It will hold 10 DD22 not 12. I have tried to shove just about any other fat bait in the top two slots. Good luck trying to put a wiggle wart, DT, or any other fat hardbody bait with a fat lip.

Medium crank box. This is were the biggest problem is. You almost need another deep crank box. DT10 are a stuggle to fit in. FAT BODY baits (Manns -4, Lucky Craft RC etc) will noy fit in this box well. It does store DT 10s, Norman Deep or middle N,

I almost perfer the little side pouch that holds 15 spinnerbaits.

Small body crank box works well.
