alright so i'm from the nwc of ct...this was our first day out...it was about 56 degrees in the air, but the water was freezing...we used all crankbaits and fished them really slow...surprisingly we caught 8 fish...heres a couple pics...oh and this is in mudge pond in sharon..

Nice job! Great to see some  early Spring bass from the North

Any idea on how deep you found them? Water temp? and what kind of CB you were using?

I usually don't fish this early but it's been pretty nice out, I took the little boat out today to a trout pond to try for some giant bass that might have become active due to the trout stocking...well I couldn't find any. I was marking fish suspended at 13' in 25' of water consistenly but they wouldn't fall for my jerkbaits. Water temp was 45*

we were in about 5-10ft of water. I was using a small baby bass colored rapala dt, he was using bomber a's in the same color
