Anyone know any good river or lakes for bass fishing in the westchester area?

All of the reservoirs in Westchester are pretty good. You can fish form shore, but better from a boat. You need a free permit from the DEC to fish the reservoirs. There are also special regulations for boating on the reservoirs. Check the internet for additional info.

You have to actually leave your boat at the reservoir,chained to a tree......I kid you not! Ok I guess, if you got an old aluminum laying around. I actually had those passes and had friends who left there boat there. A big storm came through one night, next time they went up to go fishing (driving from Jersey), a large tree had fallen over and crushed the boat LOL! :'(
