For all of us newb bass fisherman out there.Let me just say I've been fishing for about 28 years now and in that time I've only just started to produce good numbers of quality size bass in the last 2 months. The reason i attribute the lackluster numbers in the past is because i would always fish anxious, intent on covering alot of water in as little time as possible. This "technique" led to alot of chain pickerel and not much else. But recently a friend told me to simplify my "technique ,slow down my presentation, you know be patient about it,Well since then I've caught about 90 bass,2 over 4 pounds a couple 3 pounders, and funny as this may sound I still catch a pickerel or 2 but their size has gone from catching 12 to 15 inchers,to 25 inches. Also I should add I have yet to fish from a boat, all fish have been cuaght from shore , or in waders. So as the subject says k.i.s.s.(keep it simple stupid) and watch your catch rate and fish size increase.

P.S. try 5 inch black w/blue tail senko's(killer texas no weight)
