Best fishing lure for Miller Park, Maine

Featured Replies

I go fishing at Miller Park in Lisbon, Maine. I've been there like 15 times this summer and can't catch a thing. The water is all dark brown and I haven't even got a bite except for today. I had a small mouth hooked on to my lure similar to this http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=58830&hvarTarget=search&hvarAID=&cmCat=10004569 and when it got to 3 feet from shore it jumped up and my hooks came loose and lost a fish. I'm going to Sports Authority and Dick's this weeked let me know what to pick up. I don't care what you reccommend. I was thinking of those jigs. Idk what to buy.

vegetation, shallow, and a lot of tree logs. I was thinking of getting a XCalibur xr50 from Dick's after someone mentioned it was on sale for $2.99.

always a good bet is a senko, a rubber worm rigged weedless and weightless with an offset worm hook, green or black color.  Just throw it near cover and let it sink to the bottom then slowly reel it in and watch the fish come in.

also try a supershallow crankbait since the lake is shallow.

try some minnow style crankbaits as well
