Maryland's Who's who!
Few fish from the past few weeks, lots between 4 and 6 lb recently but no real giants. I'll take it.

Maryland's Who's who!
Definite no on the VA license thing and every time I've been there in the past couple years there's someone checking licenses (on a horse lol)

Maryland's Who's who!
New trolling motor pedal was rubbing the side of the tray which stopped spot lock from working. Got it fixed and was able to spot lock.

Maryland's Who's who!
That's the only reason I'll ever fish it

Maryland's Who's who!
Think I saw you guys out there. I was the one who asked for the screwdriver. Crazy how clear the lake stayed.

Maryland's Who's who!
Does anyone here spend a lot of time on Rocky Gorge? I'm getting an Ultrex and I think being able to sit at the console and stare at my graph while moving down the lake could open the place up to me. Are there smallmouth? Is the largemouth fishing good?

Why is the Potomac brown now, and when will it clear up?
The super heavy rain caused it. Give it a week and a half to clear up. Southern stuff clears first, and the stuff closest tondc clears last.

Potomac River
Water at the beach is gonna be way cleaner than it will be farther north. Water is still rising and the debris and mud will be full force North of Smallwood on Saturday. I'll be fishing the BFL Saturday and I'll be the first to tell you there's a really really good chance it's won at the beach. Doesn't hurt to say it here cause everyone knows it.

Maryland's Who's who!
Don't take a kayak or 14 foot boat on the river until late May or June and even then stay off the main river. Two guys died the other day trying to cross in a 15 foot boat.

Maryland's Who's who!
BFL is a tournament that anyone can enter. As a co angler, you will get paired with someone in a bass boat. You will get to fish one of the best fisheries in the country for 8 hours with a shot at some pretty good prize money.
