Hi All,

I am new to this board and looking for a place or two to bass fish around NYC. Basically in the Tri-State area. I moved here from Louisiana for work and have gotten the itch to catch a few bass. I have been fishing in Central Park for the last couple of months and usually catch a few LMB when I go. My buddy and I are looking to expand from the park and are looking for a place that we can try and catch a few fish. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Actually, the Harlem Meer is where I catch most of my bass.  I have heard good things about Prospect Park in Brooklyn and am planning on a trip out there.  Any other lakes out on Long Island or Upstate NY that have desent supplies of LMB?

The lakes in and around Harriman Park and the Resivoirs have good populations of both LMB and SMB. PM Mike D of Lunkerville and Dodgeguy, they are very knowledgable and can lead you to more information
