Southern NH  Fishing for Largemouth now HELP.

Featured Replies

Ok I had a great spring and summer fishing for Largemouth, some days I caught 12 bass, But I cannot get a bit now. My last good outing was on Oct 31st when I caught 5  LMB one almost 4lbs. with a spinnerbait. Should I call it a season? I was wondering what all your thoughts are. I usually fish ponds.

I'm in central NH and had a great weekend last weekend. With the really cold nights, and fairly cold days we have had since, I think it means it's gonna be tough fishing.

I'm hanging it up until ice in, and then we will see what's happening.  Good luck.

I used to live in NH and this time of year ment one thing, gold silver buddy fishing for smallies.  Try out on merrymeeting lake and fish the main lake points.

Are there any good small mouth lakes in Southern NH to try. I have put my fishing boat away, But I still go out on my inflatable with a trolling motor. So I can't go really far out. I still want to fish so any help would be great.   ;)

Wish I could help. I've put away the gear for the season as well.

Fish slow, and try deadsticking jigs off of main points.

Ya, I think I'm calling it a season also.

Thanks anyway.

I've had good luck with smallies on Nubanusit in Hancock/Nelson. A fairly big body of water for an inflatable and the season is pretty much done anyway but keep it in mind for next year. I'll definitely be keeping it on my short list, real nice spot.

Thanks for the info. I just put the inflatable away for the winter also. I will try that place with my bass boat in the spring.
