HI guys, im looking for some small lakes around the Laconia to fish. I have a 8 ft jon boat. Currently i fish silver lake,and hermit lake, just looking for some new ones for this up comming season. thnx

    not sure how far you are from Lake Horace in Weare,NH but I spent a week the on Vaca fishing with a 4hp johnboat and it was great.

    The place has alot of weekend boaters but not a ton of bass fisherman.   There is alot of deep structure and great night fishing.  There isn't too much shallow cover or weeds, just deep water.

    I caught lots of bass by the dam.

    Don't go unless you have a depthfinder.  Smallie heaven.
