My son and I went out also, But no luck here either.

I went out last weekend and had to luck. But this morning my friend and I went out and we caught 10 fish total. All were caught on a red eye shad lipless crankbait

10? I guess you found the school. What lake/pond were you fishing? Anyway nice job.

I fish a pond in Concord Mass. We caught a couple off small points and some were caught from structure. Most of the fish were caught all around the pond, and its a pretty good size for a pond. So I don't think that they were schooled up. I hear that is is best to fish when its warmest out this time of year, but we could only fish until 12 so we had to go early. We were on the water at 7 and the first fish came at about 9ish and we caught off and on right until 12. Was a great day overall, hope you guys are having good luck

sorry i am kinda taking over this thread

2 today, bringing grand total to 3 this year.  Everything on inline spinners today, 1 on a spinnerbait last week.  All pretty shallow.  No luck with any other baits, threw mostly lipless cranks and rapalas (X rap, floaters).  1 at Horn Pond in Woburn, packed with trout fishermen.  Another at Twin Coves in Waltham (Charles River)

Well caught the worlds smallest bass and one pickrel. All on shallow running crankbait. Had one other hit but got off.

All and all pretty slow. Better than gettin skiunked I guess.

Also threw a plastick lizard.

Spooked alot of bluegil. Yoy would think the bass and pickrel would be cruzzin for some easy pickins but guess not.

Went to the sand box today to a pond I've been wanting to fish for years, looking for largemouth.Strong winds out of the west 15-20mph,wtr temp was 49 deg.All fish caught on jerkbaits 4-6' of water. The largemouths didn't want to cooperate but the smallies did.2 boats 27 fish only 1 largemouth. Here's a pic of my buddy Steve and his brother Rich with some of the bigger fish of the day.
