Moodus Resv, CT HELP!

Featured Replies

This lake is full of pickerel. Is their anything they don't like? It seemed like they attacked everything before the bass had a chance.

It was cloudy, rainy and the water temp was about 64.

Just fished the upper side on Sunday for about an hour and was only able to catch a pickerel on a spinnerbait as well. To me it was weird because I had never caught a pickerel in there and my Dad thought they had pretty much died out years ago, guess we were wrong.

Plan on trying again there Thursday morning, I'll let you know if I find something that works good.

The entire lake is pretty shallow, but i did go to deeper water. I also tried slow moving baits. They were destroying senkos, drop shot, shaky worm, swim baits, and every thing else. I was catching bass, but  not a limit.
