How are the Stripers biting this time of year in the Merrimac River (Northern, MA) LAWRENCE,HAVERHILL

Anyone have any idea?? I wanna head out tomorrow i got a great spot.

fished the rocks a few weeks back at plumb island and didnt have any luck. we saw a couple caught but only one keeper.

iwent out in my buddys boat with my neibor in salsbury last weekend and collectively we caught 7 fish. two 26-1/2" but no keepers. i heard everything is messed up because of the weather.

I am going tomorrow instead.. Cant wait anymore

If i get anything i will be taking pictures with my phone!

hey Boston i went a couple weeks ago at the bridge in haverhill and rocksvillage bridge caught a bunch of small ones no keepers, they were cuaght on sea worms and Zara spooks.

Do you recall seeing a Market Basket plaza behind you at the wall?? If so that's where i am heading.

Ill probably grab some clams.

Were they hitting like crazy?? Last year at this time they were... It was like catching sun fish haha. I caught a HUGE keeper but there is no way of bringing that up without your line snapping. I tried walking it all the way down by the fire station to the dock but it snapped off =( It was pretty huge.

My buddy goes to Merrimack alll the time for stripers he catches a ton.

i didn't catch anything.. But on the other hand i was only there for like an hour or so... I lost 8 Weights & 8 Hooks real QUICK which i bought today. The rocks are crazy in that river.

If i new that.. I would of bought alot more stuff.
