  1. Depends, sometimes me and my buddies will stay up and drink all night and hit the water by 430am. 99% of the time I'll be hitting the water around noon or 7pm.
  2. I used to get calf cramps ALL the time when I was stretching out at night. Then I started running A LOT and stretching A LOT right before a bed and they went away, as soon as I stopped working out. They started coming back.
  3. haha I think we have a lake/pond called Sunset in hampstead as well
  4. Been happening up in a NH pond I've fished in.
  5. Sunset lake? Is that in Hampstead by any chance?
  6. I can't stand shore fishing either. Compared to fishing on a boat its night and day. I barely get any casts in because I always get my tackle tangled up in trees, grass, bushes, EVERYTHING. On the matter of gear I just bought one of those cabela's rods that are on sale, I didn't realize though the 7 foot rod I purchased was one piece don't know how thats going to fit in the car. I bought a ton of rapala lures then some jigs and spinnerbaits from *** -.- and a shimano baitcasting reel Always wanted to try one.
  7. I want to move where you live! All we keep getting is rain :-/
  8. I always just C&R the fish I keep, I figure someone else can have the enjoyment of catching the fish or eating him. But for me the chase and catch was good enough! Back in the water they go.
  9. There's a pond about 10 minutes away from my house that a buddy says is bass heaven, but has no fishing signs all around it.
  10. He probably doesn't want people blowing up his spot. ;D
  11. Yeah my buddies pond/lake his bass just STARTED spawning.
  12. Would flippin and pitchin help by any means? Most of the pounds/lakes around me have 50%+ lillpad cover, and things below that are weed and crap. WHAT Was even WORST was the fact when I got there, there was a small bass lookin right at me the entire time while I was trying to fish, as if he was mocking me! I tried casting to him but all he would do is go after my swivel. What a jerk > Then a picker was near me and tried getting him, that was not luck either. :-/
  13. For some reason when I went we were the only boat on the entire lake for the greater part of the day. All of the bass boats were on the opposite end of bridge fishing there. The guy I went with has caught a few 4-5 pounders out of it. All just using pumpkinseed bait.Went back to the island pond place again and got skunked :-/ The freakin lilly pads created such a hassle for me I barely got any casts in. I don't like shore fishing at all. Anyone got suggestions on good bait that DOESN'T get hung up on 10 pounds of lillypads?
  14. Stumpfield marsh is dope. I love goin there. Tons of potential Didnt get a chance for a second shot at the marsh this weekend. Though it doesnt sound like anyone had any luck on the water. Any tips youd be willing to share for getting them to hit at stumpfield? Thanks. If I remember correctly theres a bridge that seperates stump field marsh correct? If so go under the bridge and there will be stumps ALL over the place and its real shallow. All I used was pumpkin seed worms from wallyworld and caught quite a bit, 5 smallies and a few pickers.
