Where can a fella get away around Cincinnati? Where is the nearest fishing lake that is worth a darn?? Thanks for the help and keep ripping lips.

I am from Cincy but now live in Michigan.

For Lake fishing head just over the boarder to Brookville in IN.  Ceaser creek, Paint Creek, East Fork all all fairly close but have terrible boat traffic.  

For river fishing, try the Little Miami.  Good SMB fishery

Also, Where are you located in Cincy?

Thanks for all the help. Actually not in Cinci just across the river in ludlow kentucky. Did you mainly fish for largemouth??

Yes mostly LMB and SMB.  The Ohio river and its tributaries has some very good bass fishing as well.  From Ludlow, Brookville lake is only about 1 to 1.5 hours away about 60-70 miles i think.
