Rapala _x- Rap  Sub Walk

Featured Replies

Saw a Linders Angling Edge about the Rapala Sub Walk- of course they were hammering smallies, looked sweet. Was wondering if anyone in here has used them, and what results you had. I think they are new, so those in warmer climates may have "field tested" them before guys up here in the Northeast. Either way, have you used them, and what's your thoughts? Looks like, from the show, that the Smallies, and Bass went crazy. It is a walk the dog style lure, but it sits about 2' under the surface, and when jerked, it darts backs and forth under the water , like a top water "walk the dog". Thanks- may head to Cabelas today, and pick up a few colors of them.

that's a link to the new shad rap, not the sub walk I think.

I doubt anyone here has fished them much, but I'll give you a review after I do.  :-)

The Shimano website has a video of the sub walk. I plan on getting a couple before the season. My BPS stores rack is always empty of these, may have to special order.

i bought six of them today at dicks, never thrown them before, im gonna be able to get out tommorow so i will probably just fish them see how they look, dont expect to catch anything on it tommorow, fishing water thats about 40 degrees

one thing I do know about Rapala stuff after fishing it for some 25 years and selling it about 10 of those.....If it is from Rapala it will catch fish. :o

I picked one up a dicks today, but they only had the white ones.  >:o
