Possible locations for a fishing/camping trip in IN?

Featured Replies

Thread title pretty much says it all.  Looking for a place to go tent camping/fishing somewhere in Indiana in about two weeks and am open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Are you looking for big water or small?

Summit lake State Park. Great camp sotes and 600 acres of idle fishing water. no jet shkiis, or pleasure boaters!

Patoka Lake and the Patoka lake campground.  Rustic or Modern.  Great Fishery for bass, Crappie, bluegill, striper, and catfish.  Just a stones throw from French Lick, IN as well as Merango Caves for a rainy afternoon.

I think that Patoka lake's camping is very sub par at best. I would suggest Lake Monroe. Great camping huge lake. Lake Waveland small lake great camping. Tent camping can be done in the woods. Very cool.
