  1. Hello Indiana bass chasers. I live on the NE side of Indianapolis. I am looking for new water to fish. I fish a small farm pond in Hamilton county, some neighborhood ponds. I am a bank fisherman for now as I do not have a boat. Just looking for some input from fellow Hoosiers on best bank fishing opportunities. I am willing to drive to get to spots. Thank you Randy

My loacl lake, Geist Reservoir, has gotten steadily more weeds over the years. I was thinking of attempting to punch this year. What punch weights, stops, baits, etc do you use? I am looking to buy some but I don't know where to start. Thx Rand
  10. Big-O phenomenal catches as per usual. The places you fish make where I fish on the regular look like a joke. You're a fantastic angler obviously and you are fortunate to fish some amazing fisheries
  11. Thanks for the info b well. Much appreciated.
  12. Thanks nice_bass. Do you think Newton is doable with just trolling motor on a 10' jon boat. Or should I pony up for a small outboard (which I've been putting off) Rand
  13. Still no one knows whether I can use the outboard @ the ramp for Newton. Rand
  14. Anyone with info on whether or not I can use outboard at the ramp? Rand
  15. Can I use my outboad, 50HP Merc, to put the boat on and off the trailer at Lake Newton?
  16. Anyone feeling a Lake Newton trip?
  17. I live in Indy. I fish mostly @ Geist, Morse. I travel to Waveland, Patoka, Monroe now and again. I am looking to make a trip to Lake Newton this winter at some point. Hit me up if you are interested in fishing with me. My go to fishing partner has kid #2 on the way so he will be limited. I also fish some walkable "private" locales in the summer evenings. Rand
  18. Thanks for all the replies gents. I will pass on the info. Rand
  19. My cousin is looking to get a rod for cranks and topwater baits. Yet he only uses spinning rigs. I know backwards right. Anyways he has a gift card to Cabela's he is wanting to use. I told him I would do some recon. Any help would be appreciated. Rand

  25. I live in Indianapolis. This winter I am going to make a trek to Illinois to fish a power plant lake. I would like to stay within the 3 hour drive time. Any Illinois residents fish power plant lakes in state. If I am going to make the drive I would like it to be to a productive body of water. Thanks ahead of time Rand
