  1. I have read to test drag just by feel pull from the end of your rod. Since that is your rod is also part of the equation. Pull against your rod when doing so. TWO CENTS Rand
  2. I have the big Bps case that your link shows. It is great. I have used it for air travel several times. Holds up well. The adjusters actually screw in so it won't move on you. My dad gave me mine because he didn't use it. Very durable. Rand
  3. Broke a prop last weekend on Patoka Lake in southern Indiana. Should have had backup but didn't. Anyways, lookin to get a refurb. Anyone go this route? It is for a 50 HP Merc on a 07 Tracker 170. Do I need a new hub or can I go just prop? Lots of questions I know. Any and all help appreciated. Rand

  7. We have been getting quite a bit of rain in Indiana thru April and now May. What are your best lures/techniques when the water gets dirty? Water temps are mid 60s to upper 60s. Thanks Rand
  8. Anyone have a charger that works while you run your outboard? Or anything like that. We usually camp in primitive campgrounds. Don't always have elec available. So after first day of fishing have limited battery power. Any help appreciated. I have a 16' 2007 Tracker. Rand
  9. I own almost all of TD reels. And I really like the TD-Pro. For $120 new and prob less used this i a really smooth reel. You can also get Curado E on fleabay for around $150. Have fished with buddies and seem to be great reels. SMOOOTH! Would also recomend a Revo_SX. Have one that I use for frogs. Its a great reel too. Your options are plentiful IMHO Rand

  12. Have a GLX that tip broke off of this weekend! I was removing jig from baitkeeper and going to untwist line from rod....................next thing I know about 8 inches broke off top. Honestly have no idea what happened. How understanding is the warranty dept? WHAT A SICK FEELING! Rand
  13. It has been nasty. The up and down temps really hurt this time of year. Buddy and I were going to fish Patoka this weekend. But pushing it til next. Prob go to Waveland. GOTTA FISH! Seems like we are finally getting a decent amount of Hoosiers one here. Rand

  20. I have a Steez 100HA and Steez 7' MH that I am going to put Yo Zuri hybrid on. Plan to use it for plastics but not positive. Anyways was planning on 12lb hybrid but buddy picked me up spool of 15lb. Is that too heavy? Also willing to entertain other applications. FIRE AWAY Rand
