This will end up being moved to the Northeast Fishing section.

But to answer your question, YES!!!!!

I'm from southeast Mass, between Fall River and New Bedford.

Been out the last four days, and just maybe this afternoon as well.  Keeping fingers crossed.

Water temp hovered between 41 and 42 degrees.  It's now between 45 and 46 degrees.

Trips of three hours, four hours, three hours and two hours yesterday.

22 bass caught total.  Only two under two pounds, and they were only a quarter pound shy.  That count does not include the bass caught by those who went with me on Monday and Tuesday.

4 - 6 feet of water.  Rocky bottom, shelves, shoals and ridges.

All but three of the 22 were caught on either a Strike King half ounce football jig with a black/blue/flash skirt, or the Booyah equivalent, a half ounce pigskin jig in the rivercraw color (black/blue) using a watermelon black red flake Yamamoto Flappin Hog as a trailer.  The other three were caught on a Yamamoto Kreature on a Jackall 3/32 ounce Wacky Jig head with the skirt/tentacles end snug to the ball head.

I didn't fish the Kreature near as much as the jigs.  Had never fished the Kreature before and wanted to give it a shot.  It worked, and while it's hard to make a reliable assessment, I'd give a small edge to the jig.

Fished in my boat for the first time this year today. Me and my friends managed to get 10 fish total, 7 of them were caught before the rain started. Caught on jigs, shallow cranks and red eye shads.
