Nice fish!    That wind sucked, had the trolling motor on 4 just trying to stay on my rock pile managed one large mouth.

went fishing this past weekend at a pond some friends own, not a bite. o well.

Fished saturday with not a single bite.  Water temp was around 50.  went for a few hours with my daughters this afternoon.  Same spots where almost 60 degrees and held fish.  2 large mouths an a couple small smallies all caught on a pearl fluke

Made it out friday and saturday for my season opener. Caught 13 bass total, water temps 45-50. Weather was awesome, and felt great to get my first fish on......

They are really starting to bite good. Caught 15 yesterday afternoon after work.

Went to Pleasant Pond for the first trip out this year. Caught 7 but nothing big. Probably to early in the morning , should have waited a bit for water to warm up. Anyone know why the water level is down 3' ? All my spots I like to fish , the wood is high and dry. This is P.Pond outside of Richmond.
