Motor Boat Rentals in MA

Featured Replies

Other than the Quabbin Reservoir, are there any places where you can rent a motor boat for fresh water fishing in MA?

Try Hopkinton State Park. Not sure if they rent canoes or boats, but I know they rent one or the other. It'll get you off the bank and on open water. Not sure what species are there, but I think they stock it with trout.

If you are closer to Boston, I think there is a place on the Charles in the Weston area that you can rent a canoe.

Good luck, and tight lines!

Hey did you find anything out about the boat rentals?  I have been to quabbin but was also wondering if there are other places.  I know that you can rent at Lake Congamond in southwick but the rates are ridiculous for boats with motors.  I think it was something like $20-$30/hour.  The name of the place is Saunder's I think.

I'm saving for a boat but in the mean time...
