I'm going camping for labor day weekend at Wells state park in Sturbridge,MA. Planning to fish Walker pond there but know nothing about the place, anyone been there ? Any tips or reports ?

I just fished there last week. Try the lily pads at the far end from the boat ramp. There's also some sunken trees by the public beach. My partner pulled a 5#'er out from there, she was just sitting there at the tip of a branch.

The area just to the right of the boat launch had a nice school of smaller fish. They were hitting one right after the other. Lotsa fun!

Black & black/blue flake wacky rigged Senko's were working well

There are also some great mountain bike trails in the park, if you're so inclined  8-)
