  1. I have a TD-Z 103HL on my 735c. It's a pitching monster! OK, well, I haven't even fished it yet, but a boy can dream, right?
  2. Daiwa Sol works well for me. I have it spooled with #8 CX and use it for senko's and other light plastics, topwaters and small crankbaits
  3. Latey I've been digging "Since I've Been Loving You" and "Four Sticks" The Robert Plant special on Palladia network has a killer version of Four Sticks
  4. My sincerest condolences
  5. Very intriguing. Defense is mindset, NOT hardware
  6. For me, smoothness is paramount. All my lo-pro baitcasters have carbontex drag discs, lubed with Cal's drag grease and the metal drag washers have all been ground and polished. My "heavy stuff" set up has a tweeked Ambassaduer 5000 that is capable more drag than I'll ever need in freshwater.

10 rounds, offhand @ 20 yds with this,
  9. Hi. I recommend the Daiwa Sol, which can be had through ebay for around $170. It's a fine reel, easy to cast and casts light baits extremely well
  10. There's BEST, then there's BUDGET The two don't go together, but there are many ways to put together a good $250 combo, especially if you buy used or closeout gear
  11. It's easy to do if you know what you're doing AND have the proper tools, lubes and cleaning apparatus.
  12. DUDE! congrats 8-)
  13. I have three and won't hestitate to buy more. Light, balanced, sensitive ...and they're made in the US! I like supporting fellow workers here. We all need jobs
