Hey guys, does anybody know if there are any bass in Whipples Dam?I fished for trout over there years ago and the back corner always looked like good bass cover. Thanks for any feedback, just looking for someplace different to fish.

yeah I think there are a few bass in there but they arent very big at all.

Whipples Dam is mainly a trout lake. I have never caught any bass there (never targeted them there though), but I have seen a few (nothing of size though). Whipples and Greenwood both are freakin COLD all the time because the feeder creeks are all mountain runoffs.

They stock Whipples with some BIG rainbows, but who wants to waste their time catching stockies (unless you have kids with you haha). You can get stockies to bite gold hooks with no bait on them...
