Featured Replies

I live in Glasgow (about 30 miles  north of Bowling green). My home lake is Barren River, How about you?

fished morning bite at ky lake. caught several right at keeper size, 4lb.and 2.5lb smallies and 4.5 lb lg mouth. hooked something huge broke my line before i could get it up to see :'( didn't realize my drag was way too tight

I'm in Ft Thomas and fish the Ohio river mostly.  Been really bad this year with high & muddy water.

Hoping others will reply to Horny's post as well.

Guess as of the past few months after moving to Bowling Green, KY I can also claim Barren River as my NEW home lake.

Looking forward to meeting/sharing with guys here in the area.  Job does not allow for too much fishing time, but am hoping the next couple of years getting a handle on Barren, and having some good days at some of the other reasonable drive distance lakes....KY, Barkley, Old Hickory and Dale Hollow.

Give me a shout, shoot me a message...the Skeeter will be on the water TONITE.

Another Kentucky guy here.  I primarily fish Yatesville lake.  Good to hear from you all.

Another one here. I'm up in Radcliff (FT Knox). I go to Rough, Nolin, and Taylorsville. When I don't have alot of time, I'll fish Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown (which isn't too bad, gets a quick fix).

hey guys, i live in Louisville and my home lakes are Taylorsville Lake, and Lake Jericho. Its great to know that there are other fellow Kentuckians on this forum!

I've been trying to get out to Taylorsville, how is the bite this summer? I've been to Rough River and Nolin once each. Did ok, but nothing big. I also fish at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown every weekend, but the bite has been terrible. I also want to shoot down to Barren River, Green River, Dale Hollow. How is Lake Jericho? What areas are you guys focusing on your body of water, and what are you using?
