Anyone fish here lately, What's working? I have a tournament here September 18.......... I have gotten together a collection of Shad imitating lures to use

Was just there a couple of weeks ago, the only fish either my boater or myself caught were on poppers. Which won't do much good in your tourney, we each had a couple hits on frogs but no hookups. Hopefully the cooler weather by then will help.

Here is what I plan on using:

Chartreuse Sexy shad colored square billed Crankbait

Sexy Shad Spinnerbait

Charteuse Spinnerbait

Bass colored popper

Sexy Shad Colored popper

Gizzard Shad colored popper

Green Gizzard Shad colored popper

Bone colored popper

Shad colored Chatterbait

Strike King Z TOO

Strike king Zero

Strike King Zulu

Strike King Shim-E-Stick

Strike King ocho

A "walk the dog" style lure

A Mini  Jerkbait

Zoom Trick worm

Strike  King Caffeine Shad

Berkley Chigger craw

Any suggestions

Okay, I had that wrong, I was thinking you were fishing a different tourney.

The things which worked during the tourney I was in other then the poppers were jigs(this guy was across the river in a different cover with docks which he pitched to), slider heads with finesse worms or 3in senkos, and senko's. The bite was tough when we were there, once the tide started coming in there were very few bites.

I have done my research and have found 18 to 20 pounds of bass to win the Tournament. Is high tide or low tide best

First off I hope your just using all those baits to prefish. You go into the tourney with that variety your setting yourself up for a bad tourney. I have fished there quite a few times. If it were me I would have the following:

-Buzzfrog

-Hollow bodied frog

-senko

-zara spook jr.

-t rigged beaver pegged

-bitsy bug w/ trailer

Oh.. and your answer on if high tide or low tide is the best. The answer is neither. When water is moving is the best.

Rat L Trap

Jig

Shallow Crank

Med. Crank

4" worm

Buzzbait
