Oneida Lodging- For my club

Featured Replies

My club is going to be up at Oneida, in June 2011, and we are looking for a place to rent on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday nights, or the whole week if that's the only option.  We will probably need sleeping for 7, 8, or 9 guys.  Trying not to sleep 2 grown men in a double bed.  1.5 baths or more would be great.

We are fishing tournaments out of Oneida Shores State Park, so the western side of the lake would be preferred.

If you know of a place that might fit our needs please let me know.

Thanks so much! Mark

There is some motels such as Holiday inn, Best Western and so on down towards State fair Blvd. It's like 15 minutes to the South Shore launch on the west end of the lake.

Hi Mark,

Do not stay at the Days Inn at the Brewerton exit.

I did in aug. and when checkout time came they could not find my conformation for the room because they changed software and it ended up costing me an extra 150.00

Try the exit south of brewerton , I think its Cerio or something like that there is alot of restaurants and I think a super 8 there also.

Thats where I will be staying from now on.

I think its a straight run to your boat ramp.

Paul

I am thinking of going up eary june also.

Last time I stayed in Brewerton was 2004, at perhaps the worst motel in the world. I believe it was called the "Brewerton Motel" All the rooms smelled like a mixture of cigerette smoke and moth balls, the  rooms look like they have not been cleaned since the 70's. The beds made me itch and the water out of the shower was brown, but it was only $17 a night for 2 people.......... :)

Thanks for all the tips guys.  We are trying to get away from the hotel option and find a cabin/house to rent. Doesn't need to be on the lake.  Could be 20 minutes from the ramp. Problem is most of what we have found are 2 double beds, and a set of bunk beds, with just 1 bathroom. Not ideal to sleep 7 or so guys.

If you know of anything please let me know.
