Orlando Area/Lake Toho Guide

Featured Replies

Hey...

It turns out I'll be near Lake Toho for work next week.  I think I'm going to stay an extra day and fish on Saturday.  Anyone have any guide recommendations?

I did some searching online and was impressed with the info on AJ's Freelancer Bass Guide Service website at - http://www.orlandobass.com/

Anyone use them?  Any other recommendations?

THANKS!

I suggest that you make a phone call before you get your hopes up. This is the busy season for Florida bass guides.

Thanks.

I spoke to Captain Jackson, owner, of AJ's Freelancer (supposedly the longest running guide service in that area) and wound up booking a trip for next Saturday.   He's not available at all this month, but he has other guides that are.

AJ has been featured in In Fisherman and Bassmaster and trusts the guides that work for him.  I guess he better, since it's his name on the company.

Hopefully I'll have some good pictures to share after the trip!
