Flick Shakes ...

Featured Replies

Curious as to the durability of the Flick Shake worm if rigged wacky style with a jig head?  I'm trying to decide between the Flick Shake and the thin Senko for a great finesse worm and wacky worm.

Also, when using a jig head, can you use an o ring even though the jig head will be side ways or will that cause the worm to want to turn side ways as well?

I will probably use a 4" Senko the majority of the time, however wanted to have a finesse bait to my finesse bait if needed in a really tough situation.

Thanks all,

Steve

Flick Shake is mucho $$$$$.

I bougth two bags of 5.8" (7 ct per bag). They were $4.90 per bag. If they're not durable, I will definitely not be buying again.

That said the GYBC Senkos are the least durable lure I've ever seen.

I'd say either way you're looking at spending some cash.

Drew first blood on the flick shake in my club tourney today. Lost the flick shake on the fish. It's definitely not too durable and I managed to lose some with o-rings fishing them wacky rigged. It's a good bait, and I will be buying more.

Why's  everyone so concerned with durability of worms and stuff?

Fishing isn't a cheap sport, if they work, use them. That's all that should matter  ;)

I've caught 1 fish on them, small tiny fish, and the worm was fine. But I don't fish them much at all.
