West TN area lakes, Has anyone been to horse shoe lake in east arkansas, or Sardis and enid in MS. or gibson county and beech lake in WEST TN.. I have not had any good info on  these lakes.  

Hi.  I don't know how far you would travel, but not too far from Gibson County is Ky Lake. (Near Paris, I think for you)  Here's a great site for up to date reports and conditions for it.  I know personally that we were tearing them up last week, and the weather has been just great for more.  We used green pumpkin craws and fished no deeper than 12 ft.   Caught about 30 total;  16 males in two days time.  Catch & Release for us, but several were awesome keepers.  I can't post an active link yet, but add the first part and try here:

wdy77, just North and West of you! Haven't been to Horseshoe in a number of years. Started fishing there with my parents when really young. Lots of Crappie, Bream (Shellcrackers) and Bass!

I fish mostly small lakes or ponds in Shelby Forest area. There are some members that fish the lakes you mentioned a lot. Hopefully they'll chime in on this...

I 2nd that! Just got back from KY Lake yesterday where we had our 2 day club tourny. Put in at Buchanan's and we whacked 'em all weekend. Bass are on fire there right now!  We caught some pre-spawners on cranks and spinnerbaits and then once we got a limit, went flipping the buckbrush in 2 ft. of water for bigger fish.  Caught several good spots on shaky heads and crankbaits also.
