I'll be visiting Family in Jefferson, GA next week (Sat-Fri) I've heard that there are some lakes/ponds in the area.

Are there any good Bass ponds. I guess Lake Lanier is fairly close and is supposed to be very big. I won't have my boat with me so shore fishing only (unless someone invites me)

Anyone have any info please let me know.. I wanna get some Southern Bass..

    Well you will be in my neck of the woods.  However, this is my anniversary weekend.. if I want to keep celebrating them with my wife, I can not go fishing lmao..  Otherwise you would be welcome in my boat.

    Lots of good lakes.  You are only 45-50 min. from the famed Varner.(see Randalls Posts)  Ft. Yargo is about 15 min. away in Winder.
