For any of y'all living in the Atlanta area:

Does anybody fish Stone Mountain much?  My grandparents live out there and I have heard some good stuff about the lakes.  If anybody knows stuff I'd like to know where to go, what works, and when it's workin (don't have a boat though, unfortunately)...

Bank fishing will be tough there, but it is a plastics lake first and foremost.

I usually have great luck with a split shot rig, a buddy of mine does well with jigs.

Swim baits work good in the back end of the lake, where there is grass.

Beautiful lake.  Have seen some nice bass caught with shakey head jigs.
