  1. oh haha yeah i forgot about the little bullhead and the bluegill. We just happened to catch the two around the same time and my friend noticed that the bullhead would chomp on anything you put near his mouth.... so he put the gill in there and the bullhead clamped down (after asking me to video tape it of course). I just used that footage because at that point the song says "Stop with the violence, stop with the hate" so i thought it was fitting
  2. I used a compilation of my past few fishing trips to make this little bass fishing video set to music. It has hooksets and fish jumping to the beat and whatnot so its pretty entertaining i guess. Enjoy ;D
  3. I made a video from a fishing trip the other day. I couldn't have picked a better trip to bring the camera! The bass we caught included a 9lbs. 6oz., 8lbs. 10oz., 7lbs., two 6 lbers., two 4lbs. 10 oz., a 5lbs. 8oz., and more. The video is a bit lengthy but if you have some free time take a look. Enjoy ;D

  11. A seagull, a 40 inch softshell turtle, several alligator snappers, a few rods, a catfish on a fly , several newspapers, a padlock, an old tacklebox... but the best of all was when i snagged some fishing line that i pulled up to find attached to a jig which was still in the mouth of a 4 pound bass my friend had lost earlier that day ;D ;D ;D
  12. Anybody used the River2Sea Nest Raider??? I know it is a spawn bait, but it looks interesting and I'm wondering how it does. Reviews?
  13. ummm yeah rob as I remember it was dead and we were messin around... AND the hit came AFTER I picked it up and changed the spot... but yeah, I'm sorry bout that bush league catch ;D
  14. In the past week or so my buddies and I have landed some hawgs we thought we would share. The first one is a 6 that I caught while messin around with a dead bluegill on the end of my line ;D The series of pics after that are from today's outing. Today was DEFINITELY Hudson's day. He whacked a 5.5, and an 8 on live bluegill and caught some other decent bass on a jig. I stuck a 5 and a 4 on jigs and a few other bass. Our friend Shane fought but lost his fair share of monster... but unfortunately he got sick and hurled, ruining his day of fishing WARNING: some of the bass below may strike you as terminally obese... IT'S OKAY! They are just hawgs ;D What a pig!!!! Catch of the day!!!
  15. nice. leave it to paul to give us another discourse on the finer points of fishing ;D I WANT ONE OF THOSE!
  16. hahaha wow Paul, didn't even catch that one. Only you would comment on that ;D
  17. ummm no it didnt. I snagged the line, not the fish, remember?

  21. Any tips for Guntersville? I know the annual trip was there a while ago, and it looked like some pretty good fishin. A friend of my is going to fish an event down there in a couple of weeks and I'm just tryin to help him out. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.
  22. Well Hudson, Robert, Joe, and I headed down to the old honey hole once again this morning. It was freezing (for a Georgia boy in a t-shirt and shorts) and fog was rolling off the lake when we got there. We only got one bass from the dock this time, a good 5lb. 13oz. caught by Hudson. Robert swung on a jig bass and his line snapped at a knick near his rod tip. The day was really slow... the bass wouldn't commit or they would take it and spit it out before I even knew what had happened. I missed a good many and only boated two small ones. We fished till about noon without much luck and headed back to the shade of the dock. Bass began busting on the top after a while and we started jigging off the end of the dock. Joe had one hooked after dropping his jig straight down, but it got off. I made a lazy cast to the side of the dock and was reeling in when I felt my jig get heavier. I knew it wasn't a fish, and when I pulled my jig up it was wrapped in somebody else's fishing line. I grabbed the line in my hands and began to tug. "What if there were a fish on this line?" I mused as I pulled up the slack. Suddenly I felt a weight at the end of the line and it began moving ! I pulled up the bass quickly and lipped it, realizing that on the end of the line and now stuck deep in the bass's throat was Robert's jig from earlier that morning ;D! The bass went 4lbs. 11oz. on the digi, and we all talked about how unlikely it was that I snagged that bass in a different spot than where it had been hooked 8-) You can see Robert's jig's skirt at the back of the bass's thoat in this picture (don't worry, I removed the lure, and the bass swam away safely)
