What information does anyone have about West Point? Where is the best/closest ramp to Opelika, AL? How is the fishing there right now?

I have been fishing Harding since i moved over here about a month ago, and I'm pretty disappointed...decent numbers, absolutely no size....any opinions/suggestions???

West Point is a good crankbait lake. Last time I was there, I had a DT-6, DT-10, and DT - 16 in bluegill and was catching fish in all those depth ranges on cranks.

Love this lake, only fished it twice, but it is awesome.

I would suggest using the ramp on hwy 48 in Wedowee, AL.

That would put into Lake Wedowee. ;D

I am not a big fan of West Point.

I call it "Frustration Lake".  Some days I am on and some days I am off.  I have a tournament on Sunday on the Lake this week so I am planning on spending all day on Saturday trying to figure a pattern or 2 out.  You are welcome to join me if you like.
