Everyone has been on Lake Manassas.

OK, just kidding.

Yes, everyone in Virginia is out fishing this beautiful weather all over the place as you can note by the responses.

But Lake Manassas.  Just dreaming of those big lunkers.  Just sitting there.  Waiting for their next meal.  Along with the sheriff's and police departments ready to arrest you.

Just dreaming.  

I went out last night down here in Harrisonburg. Fished about 6pm-7pm in the rain. Had some strikes on the Rage Tail Toad over weed mats. I landed two, had a couple come off and just missed the hookset on a couple. Also had a hit on a big 3/4ounce jighead with the rage tail craw on the back (Andrew - the bait that I was using on my baitcaster in the morning when we were fishing) but the fish jumped and spit the bait. I feel that the fishing has been better than it was a couple weeks ago. I don't know if it's the cooler temps or because it was raining or what but I had a half dozen hits in an hour at a place that is highly pressured and usually only gives up a couple of hits every 2 hours or so...

Is anyone available the weekend of the 18th and 19th?

What are you planning for the 18th?

I have a piece of the North Fork here at Woodstock, that can only be floated tooned or canoed into due to the low water then has about a 3 mile stretch that has a dam at the end and some deep 12ft areas. Oh did I mention no one fishes this area and have landed many hogs here.

I'm gonna be up in the Fairfax area and on the 18th I only have free time in the evening so I won't be able to come back down that far. I would like to see that spot sometime, though- I saw the pic, it looked awesome.

I got a few last week on the Sebile. I may be heading on on Sunday morning. We'll see how my body holds up after a 7 mile hike tomorrow.

      I was in Greentop today!!!!!!!! Stopped in on my way too Virginia Beach........I was with my wife and she was trippin on the price of the rods I was lookin at. Her excact words "There is no way your buying a rod for $200.00!".... :'(

I'm assuming she doesn't know how much your setups retail for?

            She has no clue, she would cut them off if she knew........... ;D Clean off, that would make me a fishin unik!!! ;D

Thanks Paul, I checked it out and will put in an order soon. I sent Simon to Greentop to see if they might have the color I wanted in stock but all they had was peacock. Where you goin sunday?
