If you all are serious may I suggest the following?:

The Secrets of Briery Creek Lake

Old Dominion Outdoors

Capt.Neil Renouf

804.266.1469

www.olddominionoutdoors.com

A 65-minute DVD that you guys need to watch to get those lunkers at Briery.

Now, I don't tell everyone about this DVD so keep it to yourselves.

Do you attend Fairly-Ridiculous or Rutgers?

Just wondering.

Have a fun and safe time on Briery.  :D

watched the video, a friend had it. not all that informative. i think any decent angler can deduce the things he says on their own.

Guys,

I've caught bass up to 12 lbs in March slow-rolling a 1/2 oz. tandem white spinnerbait with a white trailer at Briery. Don't be obsessed with working the shoreline. There are banks and points that taper very slowly out to the channel. Work these areas in 6' to 12' of water.

Good Luck, hmk

The DVD is great if you have never fished Briery.

It gives you places to fish and also suggested baits and presentations for the four seasons.

The last part shows the DGIF shocking the lake and pulling out 12 to 14 pound largemouth bass.

If you want to fish Briery and have never been to the place this is a great way to begin your adventure.

And coming all the way from New Jersey to Virginia to fish one body of water it is imperative that you gain as much knowledge of the lake as possible.

Have a good time and WATCH YOUR SPEED IN MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA.

You can usually push 5 MPH over the limit, but keep as close to the posted speed limits as possible. The State Police are all over the place these days, on major and secondary roads.

Let us know how you all do.

Post some pictures, too.  :)

When going to a new place to fish everyone needs to do their homework.

Look at maps, weather reports, read articles, go on the net to see what you can find, locate the ramps and places to gas the boat and purchase food and snacks, etc.

So this DVD is your "Cliff Notes" to Briery Creek.

If a professional guide has made a DVD to help you fish the body of water, isn't it smart to see what he has to say?

And being in school, one has other responsibilities for the classroom so this DVD will help put you in the right places to fish and gives you suggestions as to what to throw.

Please remember that these guys are coming from New Jersey to fish in Virginia and the DVD will hopefully give them lots of information that they otherwise would not have or would take hours to locate.

When they get to Briery, they can go where they want and throw what they want; but the DVD will give you lots of suggestions to be successful.  ;)
