I'm looking for a hotel near Toho we will be coming up in a couple of weeks, also any info on the lake would help

Which side of the lake you looking to stay at? I was there this past weekend and stayed off of highway 192 and there's plenty of hotels and it's 3 mins from ramps

And the best areas I fished were thebig grassy just outside goblets cove and the very south entering the river

Camp Mack (campmack.com) is between lake Hatchineha and lake Kissimmee and is my favorite destination on the chain. If it's pure fishing and old fla charm you're looking for this is the place.

If you are only going to fish in Toho then any hotel near downtown Kissimmee will be close to the city ramp.

There are literally 50000 and more motel rooms on the Kissimmee end of Toho.

Go to 192 and throw a rock, you'll hit 3 hotels.

I fished the BFL as a co-angler last weekend and the fishing was tough on Kissimmee but I understand it was great on Toho as most of the big bags came from up that way. Not too sure exactly where though (wish I knew as I have a club tournament this weekend!).

Also, just as an FYI....be careful of staying at Camp Mack and leaving tackle/equipment on your boat. About 12-20 boats were hit Fri 5/1 with thousands of dollars in lost and damaged good reported. To all those that stay we should start DEMANDING that they provide night security.....for the money they make off the fisherman they should at least make sure that our gear is protected. After all, without us they have nobody to stay there!
