kb here    what is the best scent you have used on cb's hawg sauce  for smallmouth fishing if there is a difference between small or largemouth bass   i have never used it and would like to give it a try

Go with natural forage, the crawfish scent. Smallies love crawfish. Also the new shad scent should work.

I use it all the time. Stuff works great. Most of the time I use the sweet and sassy garlic. I have caught both large and smallmouth on it.  

I have a question reguarding fishing scents anyway... I have never used them before but after reading posts on the forums and seeing may pros use em I was wondering what base is best... i.e. Oil or Gel
