Bass Assassin?

Featured Replies

I didn't know they had a swim bait, but I have used their soft jerkbaits, their Charm Assassin Trick Worm style baits, and their Eager Beavers.  I swear by the charm assassin.  It is a great floating worm, like a trick worm with one tapered end.  I fish it a bunch of ways (t-rigged, weightless, and shaky), and have had some great success on it.

BassAssassin is a BRAND, not a bait.

Haven't used the swimbaits but have used the jerkbaits. The 5" shad assassin has a better action than a Super Fluke.

I don't know about BETTER than a fluke but I would say they are comparable.

I didn't even know they made swimbaits, anyone got a pic?

Found them.  Although they are calling them a swimbait, it's essentially a 5" shad body.  ( solid body basstrix)

so, it's really not a swim bait?....I tried them out yesterday. I fished it with no weight and really think my presentation was just wrong.

I think they have a little bit more wiggle and seems to squirm more on the jerk than a fluke. The downside is they slide down the hook easier than a fluke though.
