I tend to fish lots of retention ponds with intentions of catch and release only. I know there are fish in there I pulled 2 6lbers out of a small one in a single afternoon. Im just wondering what your thoughts are

As far as what, how to fish them?

If your intention is to fish the retention pond one should always stand at attention, and fish for redemption, just hope there's no intervention by the land owner, if he gets mad you may have to practice abstention.
