Fished for a few hours after work down by the dam. Caught 2 keepers and a couple shorties on a t-rigged worm. Had some blow-ups on a popper but couldn't capitalize. Most fish came out of wood and weeds right along the shore. Lots of mosquitos out there, especially at dusk. I'll be sure to double-up on the bugspray next time.

Nice! Earlier this year I was fishing the beaver hut area (there's a sign on the path that says something about beavers) anyways its on a really steep embankment. Pitched a tube next to this stump and WHAM! my drag went screaming. Went to set the hook and the fish was gone  

I feel a kayak/canoe would be really effective on thsi body of water...

That's what I was thinking too Andrew. I saw a lot of bigger fish jumping out in the middle, a yak or canoe would be the ticket.

Went to Huntsman today, not expecting to do much of anything but loose a couple of pounds to the blazing sun!! I was very wrong.  I whacked 'um pretty good.  Caught about 10 fish with the big one about 3.5lbs!! Not bad for about 2 hours of drenching sweat from about 3-5 pm.  I will tell everyone how once I try this again on the res.  It's very simple and I wish I could tell you but its not really mine to tell.  I promised a friend I would give this a shot and if it worked I would have to keep it under wraps for a while.  Sorry to brag and not divuldge, but in due time, I will.

I hope I have some luck there. I'm thinking about taking my kayak out on Huntsman tomorrow. I've got a seat open on my kayak if anyone (under 200lbs, seriously) would like to join me. Shoot me a PM if you're free.

Size. Not one to keep any, not that it's a bad thing. I think Huntsman needs all the keeper size bass intact. The blugill however should be kept or chucked up on the bank, waaaay too many of those little buggers in there!!
