Whats up southeast section! Long time saltwater fisherman here trying to expand my fishing trips to freshwater lakes for some nice bass. A lot of enjoyment bass fishing. I've done well by foot in residential lakes and canals local to me.

But I would ultimately like to find nice lakes that I can drop my boat in and attack some big bass that way.

Very inexperienced with water levels, and navigating freshwater areas, is there somewhere on the web I could research local lakes for channels or ways to navigate them?

Where in SoFLa are you?

Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens

Okeechobee has been red hot in the AM as has Lox.

Water levels have risen to the point were safe navigation can be had, even for a new comer. find an outside grass line at dawn and listen for busting shad, J&S is close to you or OkeeTanti, try spinner baits and go deep as the sun comes up.

Good luck.

PM me if you want. There are a few local canals that have been decent recently.

If it were close by, I wouldnt mind joining. Its always nice to see how others do things and learn from them.

BigNiner,

Where in Palm Beach Gardens,  I am a Florida native that grew up in the area and live in the Gardens now.  I have some great places in the Gardens area that I can take you to, one being my backyard.  Shoot me a PM when possible.

Hey, new to the site. I'm searching for a local club to fish with.

Also, maybe some of us local guys (jupiter/palmbeach) can get together and fish.
