No problem, definately let you know how it went, really looking forward to it,going with a buddy I havent seen since high school should be alot of fun maybe even catch a fish.....LOL

I went to lake Ida 2 weeks ago with another BR member. He showed me a killer bait for peacock bass.

Use a white/silver blade spinner and cast out into the deep water at the intersection of the canal that runs west from the boat launch.

There is a sand bar there. Cast along parallel with the drop off.

He caught 2 peacock and lost a much bigger one at the boat.

Hope it helps. Good luck

I've caught fish from shore in that general area, top lure has been my best bet.

There is another boat launch on the other side of the lake.
