I went on that make shift peir someone made. Didnt go over to the d**n thing yet. Anyother place you know....Thanks

I grew up in Coral Springs if you can get into Eagle Trace Golf  course (its gonna be hard but definitely worth it)the canals  are loaded with HAWGS!!!!

Both towns are anti fishing towns ,if you can  get out to holiday park or sawgrass recreation you can  fish out there and rent there jon boats and have a great fishing experience with a wide variety of fish to catch, largemouth bass, peacock bass, bluegill, crappie, oscars, gar, mudfish etc....Happy hunting!

In coral springs, there is a nice park off of coral ridge drive. I think it is called 3 friends park. It is just south of sample and west of coral ridge drive. There is a large hill(mountain in fla terms) so you cant miss it. Growing up in CS in the 70's, we used to call it Coral Springs mountain. The hill is surrounded by canals.  The canals there are pretty good. No hassles.

Coral Springs mountain

Parking?

There are 2 or 3 parking spots there. You can also park along the edge of the street in front of the homes. Do not park on the grass along the edge of a road in CS or you will get a ticket.

At the end of Royal Palm Blvd by Sportsplex there are a couple of canals with peacock and LMB as well. Right across from the Aquatic Center is a canal that borders Eagle Trace and RPB, try around the culvert. Also try the canal that runs along the Sawgrass Expressway at the far west end of the park behind the berms.

Hey Blade.  I live in a golf course community in Tamarac.  Took my land boat  (i.e. golf cart) out tonight and caught eight after dinner.  These golf course ponds around here are full of bass, but you better be in stealth mode... ;)

GLADES, I just got back from 3 friends park. Even though it was hotter in the day I still went. No luck. Just through my mini spinner bait around. Lots of lilly pads everywhere. Nice park. I will be going out there again today when it cools down. Any suggestions on what to through out there that worked well for you?

unweighted trick worms ( wat/red) and gold/black floating rapalas .

Fish the trick worms into and against the lily pads and along the banks.

Cast the rapalas parallel to the bank and fish them top water next to the pads.

Blade...check your IM.  I gotta keep my stealth mode status intact.  Some very uptight home owners around here, who are not too sympathetic towards bass fishermen.   ;)
