Wow that's crazy, glad nobody got hurt. I think alot of people don't realize how dangerous it can be out there during this time of year. When the water's below 50, it only takes the smallest thing to go wrong with you or your boat to turn it into a life or death situation. Going out in subfreezing temperatures, in a huge tidal river with strong current and floating ice, in a CANOE? Doesn't sound too smart to me...
